 Dunhinda is a very popular waterfall in Sri Lanka. It is 64 meters high. So it is not a waterfall higher than the height. But considering its beauty, it is a great waterfall. This waterfall is called Dunhinda because of the smoke-like nature of the water droplets.🍀🍃🐳👣💧🌊 

 The source of this waterfall is called Badulu Oya which starts from Badulla district.🌍🖤 To reach this waterfall you have to travel on the Badulla - Mahiyangana main road. This road is about 1 km from Badulla.

🚌 About 6 km away is a junction called "Dunhinda Junction". The signpost with a gate on the right side of the road is easily recognizable, and the waterfall can be reached by walking about a mile along the small footpath that starts at that junction. Parking is available near the main road.🚗🚖🚃🏍🛵 Vendors selling medicinal drinks and grains are on both sides of the aisle. So the footprints are not empty. But sometimes it is a very narrow one and you have to take care of yourself.❤ Avoid feeding the puppets on either side of the footpath as well as carrying any puppies with food in sight. Bathing near a waterfall is very dangerous.❌😱☠☠🧗‍♂️🏄🤽

Before reaching the main waterfall you can see😍 another waterfall called Punchi Dunhinda. However, it is very difficult to reach near that waterfall.
